Carol Tuesley, age 80, of Portage and formerly of Three Rivers, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022.
Carol was born in Battle Creek on December 5, 1942, the daughter of the late Arthur and Katherine (Shoemaker) Wetherhill.
She was a graduate of Three Rivers High School and worked in the accounting departments at Clifton Engineering and Albright Oldsmobile. Carol also spent time with Lammon Realty and in 1981, she started her own greenhouse business, Tuesley Greenhouse.
Carol loved Saint Bernards and had many throughout her life.
On January 14, 1961, she was united in marriage to Robert E. Tuesley, who survives.
Carol is also survived by her two sons, Jeffery (Amanda) Tuesley and Robert O. (Cindy) Tuesley; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and sister, Trisha Hames.
Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Smith and sister, Charlotte Breece.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Hohner Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 1:00. A time of visitation will take place at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00. Private interment will take place at a later date at South Portage Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Carol’s memory may be given to ProMedica Hospice.
