Clarence E. Kinsman, age 78, of White Pigeon Township, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at his home. He was born April 28, 1944 in Wauseon, OH a son of Theodore and Mary Ellen (Bennett) Kinsman. Clarence graduated from Wauseon High School in Ohio. On April 3, 1965 he married Agnes I. Case. She preceded him in death in 2002.
Clarence retired from Crest Homes after 20 years of service. He also drove semi, farmed, flipped homes, and enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving are his children David Wayne (Jomelyn) Kinsman, Alabama, Lynda (James Shears) Hart, Lee Ann Kinsman and Donna (David) Thomas, all of Centreville, grandchildren Ben Kinsman, Kaleb Kinsman, Emily Kinsman, Delta Uchtman, Jacob Kinsman, Tiara Kinsman, Samantha Hart-Pelo, Jamie Shears, Jackson Shears, Matt Shears, Brenda Vallier, and many great grandchildren.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandsons Michael Hart and Chase Ray, two sisters and a brother.
Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received Friday Dec. 16, 2022 from 5 to 6 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Centreville. A Celebration of Clarence’s life will follow at 6 pm. Burial of ashes will be in the White Pigeon Township Cemetery at a later date.
