Perry Durwood Ballett, age 91, of Three Rivers, died Sunday, January 29, 2023 at his home in Three Rivers. He was born in Flowerfield Township on August 11, 1931 the son of Harry and Bertha (Bloom) Ballett and was a lifetime resident of St. Joseph County. Perry served in the United States Marine Corps from 1952 to 1954. He was the proprietor of Perry’s Grocery in downtown Mendon from 1977 to 1988. Following his retirement, he wintered in Florida and Texas.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been conducted. He will be interred at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 10:30 am.
