Judy Jones, 66

Judy Ann Jones, age 66 of Sturgis, Michigan passed away Monday
afternoon November 9, 2009 at her home following a battle with cancer.

She was born December 25, 1942 in Sturgis a daughter to the late Delois
and Betty Jane (Jordan) Lung.

Judy resided nearly her whole life in Sturgis with the exception of 16
years when she lived in Colon.

On April 15, 1958 she married Fred N. “John” Jones in Sturgis. He died
August 9, 1996.

Judy had been employed by Olson Body in Sturgis for 17 years. She had
also worked at Parma Tube and Midwest Tool and Cutlery both in Sturgis
and was a home maker.

She enjoyed crafts, camping, collecting ceramic dolls, shopping and
loved time with her family.

She is survived by Two Daughters; Debra (Dave) Shipe and Dawn Casner
both of Sturgis, Five Grandchildren; Chris Shipe, Bobbie Jo Marchand,
Heather Jones, Matthew Casner and Ashley Casner, 4 Great Grandchildren;
Colin Campbell, Alex Campbell, Tyler Marchand and Cheyenne Frame, Two
Sisters; JoAnn (Larry) Benton of Sturgis and Janet A. Lung of White
Pigeon, 2 Brothers; Jerry Allen Lung and Jeff A. (Beverly) Lung both of
Sturgis, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 1 Daughter; Shelly
Mae Jones, 1 Son; Tony Edward Jones, 3 Grandsons; Nicholas Jones,
Brandon Casner and Ryan Casner.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the
Hackman Family Funeral Homes – Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa St.,
Sturgis, MI 49091, 269-651-2331. Funeral services celebrating the life
of Judy Jones will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Pastor Clarence Combs will officiate. In accordance with her wishes
cremation will follow the service. Private burial of the ashes will take
place at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis at a later date.
