Brian Charles Main, age 51, of Haslett, Michigan and longtime former resident of Sturgis, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his home due to natural causes.
He was born November 30, 1971 in Sturgis, son of Michael D. and Nancy Annette (Lindell) Main.
Brian resided in Haslett for the past 7 years coming from Berkley. His early life was spent in Sturgis where he was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1990. He furthered his education at Ferris State University in Big Rapids where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Advertising.
Following his graduation from Ferris State, he accepted a position at Main & Associates where he served the company as General Manager for 5 years. Most of his working life was in the staffing industry.
Brian was a member of Lamda Chi Alpha Fraternity, the Capital City Gun Club, the Gaelic League Irish American Club and the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club. He had an appreciation for automobiles and enjoyed collecting watches, playing golf, shooting, playing the guitar and following auto racing especially Formula One racing.
He is survived by his daughter: Carrie Main; father: Michael Main; brothers: Steven (Kathy) Main and Kevin (Sara) Main; nieces and nephews: Ellen, Emily, Thomas, Megan, Michael and Abigail and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 Monday, Feb. 20th at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd. in Sturgis. A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Brian C. Main will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, Feb. 21st at St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Pigeon. The Rev. Father Andrew Raczkowski, Celebrant.
