Frank Polasek, 77

Frank J. Polasek, age 77, of Constantine, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born July 9, 1945 in Owosso,  a son of Anthony and Agnes (Hromek) Polasek.

Frank graduated from Chesaning High School in 1963. He married Margaret (Peg) Ruff on May 8, 1965 in Maple Grove, MI. After completing a General Motors Apprenticeship, Frank worked as a skilled tradesman, including toolmaker & diemaker for 30 years. He also worked for Pioneer Seed Corn Company and did maintenance for the Constantine Township Library for over 10 years. Frank was a Hunter’s Safety Instructor and a member of Pheasants Forever. He enjoyed pheasant hunting, blue gill fishing, making maple syrup and spending time with his friends Terry Moyer and Gary Wright.

Surviving Frank are his wife Margaret (Peg) Polasek, children Tim (Kim) Polasek, Doug (Anna) Polasek, Teresa Polasek, grandchildren Tyler, Alex (Goma), Jared, Andrew, Brandon, Jacob (Jasmine), Ariel, great grandchildren Brooklyn, Jayden, and Emberlyn, sister Elaine (Alan) Kensil and brother Tony (Cheryl) Polasek. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Polasek.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held Saturday April 1, 2023 from 12 to 3 pm at the UAW Hall; 15802 Hoffman Rd., Three Rivers.
