Dave Lutz, 83

David E. Lutz, age 83, of Centreville, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at his home. He was born March 16, 1940 in Marshall, a son of Clark and Altha (Jones) Lutz. Dave attended Centreville High School. On July 17, 1959 he married Lila Snook in Centreville.

Dave served as plant manager for Coachmen Industries in Centreville from 1969 to 1979. He then began working for several area contractors until opening David Lutz Construction in 1981, retiring in 2021. He enjoyed many sports, most recently playing pickleball. Most of all Dave was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, cherishing the time he spent with his family.

Surviving are his wife Lila Lutz, children April (Tom) Balk, Theresa (Eric) Lutz-Hopkins, Hope (Chris) Gentile and Bret (Thayma) Lutz, grandchildren Zachary (Lori) Gentile, Derrick (Raelyn) Gentile, LilyAnn Lutz, Quinnlynn Lutz, Daniel (Leah) Balk, David Balk, and Nicole (Jason) Nagle, great grandchildren Olivia Gentile, Nick and Luke Hornsby, Emma and Braydon Balk. He was preceded in death by his parents and step parents.
