Mary A. Krugh, age 82, of Shipshewana, passed away at her home Saturday evening, June 17, 2023.
Mrs. Krugh was born on July 10, 1940, in Colon to Paul and Mabel (Warkentine) Stewart.
Living in LaGrange County since 1963, she had worked at Howe Military School, Howe Medical Center, and was a deputy at the LaGrange County Auditor’s office. After her retirement from the auditor’s office, she worked part time for LaGrange County Treasurer’s office.
Mary was a member of the Lima United Methodist Church where she had been active with the United Methodist Women and served on many church committees. Mary enjoyed spending time with and traveling with her family and friends and supported local community and church events. She enjoyed reading and cross stitching.
On May 21, 1961, in Sturgis, she married E. Terry Krugh He preceded her in death on August 21, 2005.
Surviving are her two daughters, Kelli (Stan) Flory of Jones, and Dianna (Steve) Cisco of Odessa, FL; her two grandchildren, Dylan (Caitlin) Cisco of Caledonia, MI and Nicole Cisco of Knoxville, TN.
Preceding her in death along with her husband, were her parents, a sister, Edna Helmuth, and a brother, Raymond Stewart.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 3 to 7 pm at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 11:00 am at Lima United Methodist Church, 6900 N 450 W, Shipshewana, IN. Pastor Kevin Brower will officiate the services. There will also be an hour of visitation prior to the services.
Burial will follow at Sidener Cemetery in rural Shipshewana, IN.
Memorials may be made to either Lima United Methodist Church or Shipshewana Volunteer Fire Department.
