Boil-water advisory lifted in Constantine

Constantine Village Manager Mark Honeysett said a boil-water advisory issued last week was lifted by mid-afternoon Friday.

The precaution was the result of a drop in pressure in the village’s water supply Thursday morning. The pressure drop, which occurred during a water main break Wednesday, had the potential to create bacterial contamination.

Honeysett said the village’s water system was back in service by Thursday afternoon and water pressure has been restored.
