Kenneth E. Letcher, age 82, of Three Rivers, passed away on June 19, 2023 at Three Rivers Health.
He was born March 28, 1941 in Bertrand, Michigan, a son of Paul and Thelma (Bliss) Letcher. Kenneth married the love of his life, Karen Coulter, on September 16, 1967 in Three Rivers. Karen and Kenneth spent their early years of marriage in Detroit before moving to and residing here in Three Rivers for the last 52 years. He was a man of the road, driving a truck for TNT Holland for 25 years, before his retirement in 2002. He also served this great nation in the United States Navy. Kenneth had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, playing guitar, auto racing, gardening and making people laugh. He was a part of the Free Masons as well as the Shriners and would spend hours getting his clown makeup just right for the parades.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen Letcher; Children: Lon Letcher of Kalamazoo, Jennifer Tedder of Texas & Deborah Letcher of Coldwater; 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; 2 sisters: Pat (Clarence) Hunsberger of Jones, & Victoria (Joseph) Hackenberg of Three Rivers; Several Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters: Mary, Joanne, Nancy and Lois; mother-in-law: Dorothy Coulter of Kentwood, MI; Brother-in-law: Kenneth Coulter of Hastings, MI.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Ray Funeral Services, 305 Rock River Ave., Three Rivers, MI 49093, has been entrusted with his arrangements.
