Douglas Bruce Krugh, age 78, of LaBelle, Florida, died on Nov. 30, 2022. He was born Nov. 3, 1944, in Kalamazoo to parents Bruce and Audrey (Foss) Krugh.
Doug was an accomplished musician, playing locally and nationally in bands such as The Falkons, The Frank Sparks Revue, the Debonairs, Country Express and others. He was a skilled billiards player who also enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He had been a member of various social clubs including the Elks in Florida, the Moose Lodge in Michigan and Florida, and the Eagles in Michigan. Doug loved his children dearly.
Surviving Mr. Krugh are (sister) Donna Fischer, son Douglas (Christina) Krugh of Elkhart, daughter Danielle (Christopher) Hartner of South Deerfield, Massachusetts, and dear friend Patricia Anthony; grandchildren Brittany Krugh, Courtney Reaper, Jarod Krugh, Coleman Hartner, Amelia Hartner, Dustin Hoy and Michael Hoy; and great-grandchildren Elijah, Ember, Edith, Mason and Aubrey.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert.
There will be a Celebration of Life on July 29, 2023 at the American Legion in Sturgis from 2 to 6 pm.
