Branch County – Plea agreement following fatal crash

A plea agreement has been reached with a Branch County man related to his role in a fatal car crash last year.

Prosecutor Zach Stempien said the agreement was made with Dylan Sadger. The 19-year-old Sadger in May 2022 was behind the wheel of a SUV traveling east on Sikorski Road in Bethel Township.

Sadger failed to stop at the intersection of Gilead Lake Road and struck the passenger’s side of a vehicle. The impact killed Laurie Bradley, 58, of Clinton County.

Sadger, who is charged with reckless driving causing serious impairment, is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 28.

    So what was the agreement?
    Prison time?
    Probation?
Or did he get a stern scolding and lose his license?
