George Lee Anderson age 69, of Coldwater, passed away late Saturday evening, August 26, 2023 at Henry Ford Ascension Hospice Home in Jackson, Michigan.
He was born June 6, 1954 in Coldwater, son of the late Harold Burr and Theo (Person) Anderson.
George resided most of his life in the Coldwater area and was a graduate of Bronson High School with the class of 1973.
On May 16, 2014 he married Marie Angela Foschi at the Northview Christian Church in Coldwater.
George retired in 2019 from K&W Manufacturing in Bronson following 24 years of dedicated employment. Before joining K&W, he worked several years for Caudill Brothers Scrap Metal in Bronson.
He was a member of the Northview Christian Church and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and tinkering and was known to be able to fix most anything.
He is survived by his wife: Angie; three step-daughters: Tammy Vosbur of Indiana, Kim (George) Little of Coldwater and Lisa (Donnie) Peterson of Coldwater; one step-son: Troy Cook of Coldwater; foster daughter: Sophie Wilbert of Quincy; eleven step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; four sisters and one brother.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 31st at the Northview Christian Church, 539 Union City Road in Coldwater where funeral services celebrating the life of George Lee Anderson will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00. Pastor Jeff Bream will officiate. A continued time of fellowship and the sharing of a meal will follow the service. In accordance with George’s wishes, cremation will take place.
