Jered Sheline, 37

Jered Nelson Sheline, age 37, of Three Rivers, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.  He was born in Kokomo, Indiana on January 23, 1986 the son of Jeffrey and Penny (Sills) Sheline.  Jered attended Kokomo High School and was part of the 2004 graduating class.  He was musically gifted and loved playing the guitar and drums just like his dad.  He enjoyed playing rock and roll music, but liked listening to country.  Jered was an animal lover, always finding stray cats and bringing love and compassion into their lives.  In his younger years, Jered worked at Lord-Jons Taco in Kokomo, which was a family-owned restaurant.  Most importantly, Jered loved his family.

Jered is survived by his father and step-mother, Jeffrey (Polly) Sheline; mother and step-father, Penny (Tony) Bishop;  maternal grandfather Jerry (Joyce) Sills; siblings Brandon (Amy) Sheline, Chad (Colleen) Sheline, Molly Sheline, Amy (Adam) Spencer, Matt Sheline, and Derek Sheline; Step-siblings Kole (Megan) McWhirt, Konner (Kinsey) McWhirt, Ty (Beth) McWhirt, Todd (Ciera) McWhirt, Erynn (Josiah) Bennett, Abby (Steve) Stonecipher, and Adam (Amy) Bishop; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gaylord and Mary Sheline, maternal grandmother, Mary L. Sills, and paternal aunt, Beverly Sheline.

In keeping with family wishes, cremation is being conducted.  A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.  Condolences and memories of Jered may be expressed to the family at eickhofffuneralhome.com
