Thomas John “Tommy” Weatherwax, 48, of Three Rivers, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, at his home.
He was born May 11, 1961, a son of John Henry and Annette Marie (Egan) Weatherwax.
Tommy had been a lifelong resident of this area. He worked as a carpenter and handyman for many years, serving many in his community. Tommy had a fun-loving spirit and will be missed by his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving family, children Travis (Jeanette) Wilson of Three Rivers and Anna Wirick of Kalamazoo; two sisters, Anne (Terry) Massengill and Annette (Matthew) Young, both of Venice, Fla.; two brothers, John (Patty) Weatherwax of Three Rivers and Eddie (Kay) Weatherwax of Florida; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of Tommy’s life from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Hohner Funeral Home in Three Rivers.
