Victoria Rose Shotzman, age 67, of Sturgis, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 23, 2024, at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital in Ypsilanti.
She was born May 17, 1957 in Sturgis, daughter of the late Charles and Naomi (Bupp) Shotzman.
Vicky was a lifelong Sturgis resident and graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1975. She furthered her education at Glen Oaks Community College where she earned an associate degree.
She was a talented hairdresser and had worked at Fiesta Hair Salon in Sturgis for several years. Prior to becoming a hairdresser, she was employed by Sturgis Molded Products for a number of years.
Vicky had a love for dogs, especially her Miniature Schnauzers.
She is survived by her son: Matthew (Theresa) Shotzman of Newburgh, Indiana; grandchildren: Jared (his fiancée Sabrina Baker) Shotzman, Jaylen Shotzman, Jasmyne (Austin) Lafler and Juliana Shotzman; brother: Mark (Judy) Shotzman of Howe, Indiana; stepmother: Christine Shotzman of Sturgis and her companion: Henry Draper of Sturgis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son: Brett Michael Shotzman.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
