Sheryl Sue Ballman, age 66, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Three Rivers Thursday, on May 23, 2024. She was born on October 10, 1957 in Vicksburg, the daughter of Delbert and Loius (Chapman) Franks. Sheryl attended Vicksburg Schools. Sheryl married Joseph Ballman on June 17, 1986 in a little church west of Mendon. Sheryl looked forward to her camping trips and walks in the woods; being in touch with nature was very important to her. She and her husband, Joe, would often hang out in the shed out back sleeping under the stars. She was a music fan and enjoyed listening to rock and roll and country. For a woman with a short stature, she had a very big heart. She loved her family dearly and was a magnet to all children. Sheryl always made sure to take care of others, but wasn’t afraid to get feisty if need be. She adored her animals and felt comfort in her own home.
Sheryl is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Joseph Ballman; daughter Laura (Zachary) Dean; siblings; Delbert Franks, Terry Franks, Donna Moyer, Barb (Don) Kemp, Sherry Bresson, Deb Wells, and Sharon (Dave) Mead; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter Angel; and siblings; Bob Frank, Connie Burns, Nacy Alldaffer, and Lois Ellison.
In keeping with family wishes, cremation is being conducted. A celebration of Sheryl’s life will take place at a later date. Condolences and memories may be expressed to the family at eickhofffuneralhome.com
