White Pigeon library hosts free music series

White Pigeon Township Library has announced the return of its popular “Summertime Tunes” free music series.

The 2024 season starts July 3, kicking off with The Whateverly Brothers, featuring classic acoustic jams. A special presentation takes place July 13 as part of White Pigeon Days. The Brenda Loomis Band performs at White Pigeon High School at 7 p.m., prior to the festival’s fireworks program.

Tony Fields, promoted as “the best R&B and Motown in Michigan,” is the July 17 performer. The series concludes July 24 with RockDogs, whose genre centers on classic rock.

Aside from the July 13 concert, performances start at 6 p.m., last about two hours and take place at Wade Park.

Prospective guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
