Groundbreaking held for new Armstrong facility

Armstrong International of Three Rivers recently staged a ceremonial groundbreaking for a new manufacturing facility.

The June 20 event signified the start of construction related to a 29,000-square-foot manufacturing space, which will include production of 150 heat pumps a year once at full operation. Company officials expect the eventual creation of 30 new jobs once the facility opens in 2026.

Partial funding for the plant was provided by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Heat-Pump Defense Production Act program.
