Search warrant leads to arrest

A 31-year-old man was arrested Tuesday following the execution of a search warrant Tuesday in Cass County’s Newberg Township.

Members of the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team conducted the search at a location in the 61000 block of Bair Lake Street. It was performed after receiving a tip related to suspicion of concealing stolen property.

Detectives located and recovered multiple stolen items.

Detectives are requesting charges to the Cass County Prosecutors Office for possession of stolen property on the 31-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman.
