The Three Rivers Promise is once again sponsoring an all-you-can-eat fish fry and chicken tenders dinner to raise funds for its local scholarship program.
The event will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 16 at the First Presbyterian Church in Three Rivers.
Last year’s event helped raise more than $15,000.
The meal includes Dan’s fish, baked beans, coleslaw, dinner rolls and dessert, as well as lemonade and water. Chicken tenders will also be an option in place of fish.
Tickets are on sale at the Riviera Theatre and Lowry’s Book Store. A meal can be reserved by calling 816-8710 starting Aug. 6. Cost for anyone 13 years of age or older is $12 in advance and $13 at the door. Kids 6-12 are $7 in advance and $8 at the door.
The Three Rivers Promise is a college scholarship program for Three Rivers High School graduates that will enable their successful completion of a college or vocational degree.
