Branch County man heads to court facing multiple charges

The case of a Branch County man facing drug-related and other charges is headed to Branch County Circuit Court.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said Anthony Cuyler, 46, faces charges of delivery of methamphetamine to a minor and possession of methamphetamine. Cuyler is also charged with three counts of first-degree criminal-sexual conduct.

In addition, Cuyler is charged with possession of ammunition by a felon, according to Nessel’s office.

Branch County Prosecutor’s Office charged Cuyler in 2019 for alleged sexual assaults against two girls, ages 11 and 12 years, and for allegedly providing them with methamphetamine, according to authorities.

Cuyler allegedly fled Michigan for Mexico but was returned in March. His next court appearance is Aug. 12.
