Three Rivers Police Deputy Chief Sam Smallcomb said a local woman who had been missing for more than two weeks was found and is safe.
According to a department media release, 46-year-old Melanie Jo Loree was reported missing July 8. She had been last seen in the 300 block of South Erie Street.
Chief Scott Boling issued a media release Friday afternoon, indicating Loree was located alive and is doing well. No additional information about Loree was disclosed.
