TR man arrested on drug and bond violation charges

A tip through a citizens’ hotline resulted in the arrest last week of a Three Rivers man who was out on bond following drug-related charges.

Southwest Enforcement Team, Three Rivers Police, St. Joseph County Sheriff’s deputies and Michigan State Police troopers combined resources that led to the arrest of 41-year-old Jeremy May.

May was out on bond from a previous arrest related to drug and firearm violations, authorities said.

May was observed allegedly taking part in suspected drug transactions July 29 at locations in Lockport Township and Three Rivers.

The vehicle in which May was a passenger was stopped and authorities discovered May was in possession of approximately 35 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 3.5 grams of suspected heroin.

May was charged with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver heroin and a bond violation, according to authorities.
