Four incumbents lose in White Pigeon Township

Four incumbents on the White Pigeon Township Board were voted out of office Tuesday.

In the race for supervisor, longtime board member Don Gloy was outvoted, 508 to 320, by challenger Jason Trosper. The term covers a four-year period.

Meanwhile, Anita Casada eked out a win over incumbent Trudy Gloy to claim the township treasurer position. The unofficial vote was 437 for Casada to 381 for Gloy.

Two new trustees, Amy Snook and Sheila Kroupa, will join the board after defeating incumbent trustees Vince Schroen and Jean Tefft. Snook led the quartet with 394 votes, followed by 331 for Kroupa. Schroen had 327 votes and Tefft received 318.
