Dale A. Baldwin, age 68, of Orland, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital in LaGrange.
He was born February 17, 1956 in Sturgis, and was the son of James and Barbara (Wehrly) Clouse.
Dale resided in Orland since 2019 coming from Niles. His early life was spent in Sturgis and Elkhart.
On July 23, 1983, he married Karen Martin in Bristol, Indiana.
He retired in March of 2021 from Steel Technologies in Mishawaka following 42 years of dedicated employment and owned and operated together with Karen, Old Time Outfitters antique store in Niles for several years.
Dale enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Elkhart Bass Club. He also enjoyed hunting, following NASCAR and was a lifelong loyal avid fan of the Detroit Lions. Dale had a true love of animals.
He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 41 years: Karen; his mother: Barbara Clouse of Sturgis; sisters: Lori (Rick) Benedict of Port Charlotte, Florida, Ann (Dennis) Waltke of Sturgis and Nancy (David) Lutz of Toledo, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: James Clouse.
In honoring Dale’s wishes cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
