Pancake breakfast will benefit Colon Fire & Rescue

Colon Community Fire & Rescue is hosting an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast later this month.

The three-hour event starts at 8 a.m. Oct. 26 at the fire station on M-86, just west of the village limits.

For those who don’t prefer pancakes, an alternative option includes scrambled eggs, sausage and hashbrowns.

In addition, the department will have for sale Colon Fire & Rescue shirts, tumblers and several other items featuring the agency’s name.

Cost for the breakfast is by donation and proceeds benefit the department’s effort to purchase equipment and supplies.
