Thurston Woods hosts 5k run and walk

Here’s a reminder that a 5K run and walk will take place this weekend at Thurston Woods in Sturgis.

Event organizers said the fourth “Fall Run for the Residents” will start at 9 a.m. Saturday at 307 N. Franks Ave.

The colorful fall run will take place through and around the 90-acre Thurston Woods campus. Participants are encouraged to wear a Halloween costume.

Cost to enter is $30.
