Troopers seek hit-and-run driver

Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a hit-and-run incident occurring earlier this week in Calhoun County’s Athens Township.

Troopers responded shortly before 8 p.m. Monday to an area of M-66 near Q Drive South.

According to a department media release, troopers recovered parts from a vehicle whose driver fled the scene. Surveillance footage shows the suspect vehicle as being a white in color Jeep Gladiator with black rims and a sticker on the right side of the rear window.

The suspect vehicle is missing the driver’s side mirror.
