Noel Sperry, age 87, of LaGrange, died Saturday, January 18, 2025, at his residence. He was born on May 27, 1937, in Orland, IN, to Clifford and Lena (Bailey) Sperry.
Noel was a loader operator for 15 years at the Brooks Construction Company, Fort Wayne, IN. He was a member of the Union Locals #150 & #103. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Serving from May 1960 to May 1962 and then served his reservist time until May of 1966.
On November 5, 1994, in Howe, IN, Noel married Alice L. Hines.
Surviving is his wife, Alice of LaGrange; a daughter, Lola (Robert) Brophy of Fort Wayne; three sons, Curtis Sperry of Wolcottville, IN, Bart (Tonya) Marshall of Elkhart, and Andrew Northrop and his fiancé, Kristen Klink of LaGrange; six grandchildren, Ethan (Natasha) Fry, Dr. Danielle Collins, Bradeon Marshall, Conner (Genesis) Marshall, Hailey Carter and Taylor Carter; a sister, Vada-Ann Whetstone of Three Rivers; and a brother, Jackson R. (Nancy) Sperry of Orland, IN.
Noel was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael Northrop; three sisters, Nancy L. Beck, Sally P Adkins and Merry I. Rowdabaugh; and two brothers, Dale C. Sperry and Nelson E. Sperry.
In accordance to the families wishes, cremation will take place and the family will have private services at a later date.
