A LaGrange County man died this week in a two-vehicle crash in Florence Township.
Sheriff Chad Spence said deputies were called shortly before 4 p.m. Monday to the intersection of Lutz Road and Stears Road in response to a crash with injuries.
Investigators said a 27-year-old man from Howe, Ind., identified as Francisco Javier Ramirez Munoz, was driving east on Stears Road and failed to stop at the Lutz Road intersection. The vehicle, a Honda Civic, crashed into a pickup traveling north on Lutz Road. It was driven by a 22-year-old man whose community of residence was not indicated in a sheriff’s department media release. He was not injured.
