An Independence Day tradition in Schoolcraft returns later this summer.
The Schoolcraft “Firecracker 5” is back in 2025 after a hiatus in 2024 due to ongoing reconstruction of U.S. 131. The annual run is a significant fundraiser for Schoolcraft Athletic Boosters.
Registration for the five-mile run is $35 through July 2. Cost is $40 starting July 3 and on the day of the event.
Deadline to receive an event t-shirt is June 15.
