TR basketball coach retires

Three Rivers Community Schools has announced the retirement of boys varsity basketball head coach Brian Burg.

Between the boys teams and the girls squads, and middle school, junior varsity and varsity, Burg led Wildcats hoops for 22 seasons.

As varsity boys coach the past 11 seasons, Burg’s teams won three District championships. In addition, he was twice named Wolverine Conference “Coach of the Year.”
