TR School Board ok’s electronic signs

Three Rivers Community Schools Board of Education members recently authorized an expense for electronic signs to be placed outside all of its five school buildings.

Superintendent Nikki Nash said as a result of the $450,000 bid accepted from Grand Rapids-based Postema Signs and Graphics, new digital signs will be placed outside the district’s three elementary schools and its middle school. A digital sign outside Three Rivers High School will be replaced.

Funds to cover the cost were included in a recent, voter-approved bond request.
