United Way’s Roofsit 2025 will raise funds for Sheriff’s department services

St. Joseph County United Way is sponsoring an upcoming fundraiser to benefit two services offered through the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department.

Roofsit 2025, a four-hour event, starts at 10 a.m. April 30 at the sheriff’s department.

United Way officials said all proceeds raised during the fundraiser will be turned over to the sheriff’s department’s Canine Program and its Drone Program.

In addition, information about a variety of county services will be available, including representatives from Victim’s Services, Dive and Rescue, Marine Patrol and Mounted Division.

  1. I have to believe there are more pressing needs in St. Joe County that the United Way could address other than these. JMHO
