Passenger injured in Cass County crash

A Three Rivers woman was involved in a two-vehicle crash last week in Cass County’s Newberg Township.

Sheriff Clint Roach said deputies were called at 1 p.m. Friday to the interception of M-60 and M-40 in response to a crash with injury.

Investigators said a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Corey Chapman Jr., of Eaton County, was southbound on M-40, while Three Rivers resident Darlene Tucker, 64, was eastbound on M-60.

Troopers said both vehicles entered the intersection simultaneously. The vehicles came to rest in the intersection.

Chapman’s passenger, Jakob Greenman, 23, also of Eaton County, was treated at Three Rivers Health.
