Sarah Schrock, age 71, of Martinsville, Indiana, passed peacefully away at Bloomington Hospice House on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Three Rivers to Dick Jones and Julie (Witek) Jones on July 12th, 1953.
Sarah was a graduate of Constantine High School in 1971. She married Dennis Schrock on December 28, 1994 and helped raise his 3 sons. Sarah loved dogs and had raised, trained, and shown retrievers for more than 20 years. She also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with the family. She studied ballet in Elkhart In for several years taking the daily bus from Constantine to Elkhart. In school she excelled in softball and volleyball, and also participated in barrel racing. Sarah always thought of others first. She was a very caring and special woman and will be missed by many.
Sarah leaves behind her husband Dennis, sister Lori (Gary) Hibbs, step sisters, Jody (Jeff) Komans, Gail (Garry) LeVan and step brother Donald (Donna) Schrock. Step sons, Bradley, Cody and Casey Schrock. Grandchildren Cassie, Morgan, Caileb, Jackson, Corbin, Selah and Ian. Her uncle Charles (Randi) Witek and many cousins.
Per Sarah’s wishes cremation has taken place and a small celebration of life will be held at a later date.
