A man and a Cassopolis Police Department patrol car he allegedly stole have been found.
Cassopolis Police Chief Todd McMichael did not disclose when or where the suspect and the vehicle were found, but said the public is safe from potential harm possibly caused by the man.
The suspect was in the process of being arrested around 1 p.m. at an undisclosed location in the city. He managed to avoid arrest, enter a marked patrol car and flee the scene.
