Kalamazoo airport plans 96th anniversary event

Battle Creek-Kalamazoo International Airport celebrates 96 years of flight with a special event later this year.

“Air Fair,” a one-day attraction, takes place Sept. 20 at the Kalamazoo-based airfield.

The celebration includes drinks, food trucks, giveaways, face painting, paint-a-plow and a number of family-friendly events.
