Duck Race will benefit TR Promise

A fundraiser benefitting the Three Rivers Promise scholarship program returns as part of next week’s Three Rivers Water Festival.

The annual Duck Race, a rubber-duck competition at Scidmore Park, will be held June 14.

Event organizers said cost is $5 per duck or five for $20. Owner of the first duck to cross the finish line wins $100. Meanwhile, second- and third-place winners will take home $50 each.

Tickets to receive a duck on race day can be purchased – cash only – now through race day at Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce or at the office of Century 21 Affiliated.
