Romona Rumsey, 65

Romona S (Monie) Rumsey, age 65, of White Pigeon, died on Monday, June 2, 2025.  She was born on January 31, 1960 in South Bend, the daughter of Harvey E and Dixie Rose (Garrison) Goodsell.

Romona was a White Pigeon resident since 1990, coming from Sturgis. She was employed by Summit Polymers , IAC, and the Sturgis Journal. She was a member of the Sturgis Eagles, She Enjoyed country music, concerts, crafts, and family. She collected salt and pepper shakers and rubber ducks. She was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader.

Romona was married to Michael A Rumsey on December 31, 1987 in Sturgis. He survives along with Daughter Jeanie Seifert (Franklin Lennon), Son Charlie (Clarissa) Purcell, 6 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild. 2 Sisters May Ferrell, and Dixie Fakler. Brothers Ora Goodsell, William Snyder, and  Almo Irby. Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her Parents, and Brother Roger Ryen.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon where Services  will begin at 1:00 with Pastor Michelle Perkins of The White Pigeon United Methodist  Church Officiating.
