Randy Charles Burritt, age 76, of Leonidas, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 5, 1949 in Coldwater, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Thomas) Burritt. Randy attended Quincy High School and was part of the 1967 graduating class. On March 17, 2007 Randy married Marjorie Noga at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bronson, Michigan.
Randy enjoyed cowboy shooting, improving his skills with various targets and weaponry with his friends. He was extremely talented at building and flying model air planes. Randy’s card playing skills were both impressive and intimidating, especially when it came to Texas Hold’Em. He was a member of the Colon Kiwanis Club and the Knights of Columbus; donating his time to those in need. When he was able to relax, he would often watch old war movies or enjoy a good Tom Clancy audio book. Most importantly, he was a wonderful provider, loving husband, and a terrific father.
Randy is survived by his wife; Marjorie Burritt; children; Robert Burritt, Timothy Noga, Heather (Ryan) Kenyon, Brian (Erica) Burritt, Kimberly Noga, and Julie (David) Carpenter; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings; Thomas (Jan) Burritt, Debbie Evans. He was preceded in passing by his parents; Charles and Dorothy Burritt; and son-in-law; Matthew Craig.
In keeping with family wishes, cremation is being conducted. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm with a rosary beginning at 8pm at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 11am at St. Edward Catholic Church in Mendon with Msgr. Thomas Martin officiating, followed by burial at St. Edward Catholic Cemetery and luncheon. Donations in memory of Randy may be made to either; The American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or St. Barbara Mission Parish.
