Marion A. Vanderhoof, 94, of Marcellus, passed away Wednesday evening, Dec. 23, 2009 at the Riverview Manor in Three Rivers.
She was born Dec. 17, 1915 in Jones, the daughter of Alfred E. and Edith L. (Darlison) Welburn. In LaGrange, Ind. on Aug. 22, 1936, she married Henry D. Vanderhoof who preceded her in death on April 28, 1993. She was a resident of Marcellus most of her life and attended Marcellus United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Marcellus Lakeland Chapter #673 AARP.
Surviving are two sons, Robert D. (Joey) Vanderhoof of Marcellus and Gerald M. (Bonnie) Vanderhoof of Cosby, Tenn.; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, two sisters and six brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at the Marcellus United Methodist Church with Pastor John D. Messner officiating. Burial in Poe’s Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Marcellus United Methodist Church.
