Ron attended Vicksburg High School and was part of the 1965 graduating class.  On September 17, 1966 he married the love of his life, Pat Miller, at Delta Mills United Methodist Church in Lansing.  Every year, he and Pat would winter in Palmetto, FL where he enjoyed boating and fishing.  Ron also enjoyed camping in various spots in Michigan with his family.  He was a member and attended Moorepark Community Church in Three Rivers.  Ron always put in a hard day’s work.  For most of his life he worked on the family farm; always busy, working on equipment, tending to his fields, tinkering in his shop, making sure his yard was up to his standards, and spending time in his garden.  Ron was a “jack of all trades”, always fixing something and helping someone else.  After his retirement from farming, he would expedite for the LEAR Corp and was the grounds manager at Klines Resort.  In his younger years, Ron donated his time on the Mendon Township Board of Review and as a volunteer fireman.  Spending time with his great-grandchildren was something he always enjoyed.  Especially taking golf cart trips through the woods.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Pat Weinberg; two children; Troy (Sandra) Weinberg and Sheli (Mark) Daniels; six grandchildren; Madison (Zac) Halvin, Corbin Weinberg, Drew (Aimee) Cupp, Haili (Jared) McBride, Lacey (Jason) Cupp, and Parker (Grace) Cupp; eight great-grandchildren; Weston, Lennon, Briella, Hardy, Kyler, Rory, Hazel, and Ridge; brother in-law Pat Jergens; and many nieces, nephews, extended families, and his favorite cat, Callie.  He was preceded in passing by his parents; Rex and Frances Weinberg; his sister, Carolyn Jergens; and baby John.

Visitation for Ron will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 4 until 7pm at the Eickhoff Funeral Home in Mendon.  A private burial will take place at a later date in Mendon Cemetery.  It is suggested that donations made in Ron’s name be directed to Moorepark Community Church Missions.  Condolences and memories may be expressed to his family at eickhofffuneralhome.com
