Barbara Jean Jones, age 82, of Three Rivers, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025 at LakeHouse Assisted Living.
She was born March 9, 1943 in Berwyn, Ill., the daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Brockbank) Kandler, and graduated from Lyons Township High School with the Class of 1961.
On August 10, 1968 she married Andy Jones. Barb and Andy enjoyed life together raising their 3 children and later many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Together, they were active members of Calvary Baptist Church in Three Rivers. They enjoyed traveling to see family, fishing, and swinging on their porch swing.
Remaining to cherish her memory are children, Mike and Francis; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Tokarski, Carla Kandler Norwood, and Edward Kandler (Sally).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andy Jones; and son, Timothy Jones.
In accordance with family wishes, cremation has been conducted. She will be laid to rest with Andy at Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
