St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a Lockport Township woman.
The investigation into what the agency has called a suspicious death started Aug. 12 at a location in the 17000 block of South River Road. Deputies arrived after Central Dispatch was notified about an unresponsive individual.
Authorities identified the victim as 60-year-old Cynthia Gee, of Lockport Township.
Deputies decided the situation required further investigation to determine whether foul play was involved.
Anyone in the area with security cameras, Ring devices or similar systems are asked to review their footage from Sunday through Tuesday to secure information valuable to the investigation.
