Harry Carter, 79

Harry L Carter, age 79, of Porter Township, White Pigeon, died on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at his home following an extended illness. He was born on March 28, 1946 in Elkhart, the Son of Levi Harry and Grace E (Schmidtendorff) Carter.

Harry lived on the Family Farm all of his life, and was a Constantine School Graduate. He was a farmer, millwright, and retired from Syndicate Store Fixtures. He was a member of Kessington Community Church, Karos Prison Ministry, enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and having coffee with friends.

Harry was married to Diane K Yantzi on October 23,1965 in Constantine. She survives, along with Sons Harry L (Staci) Carter JR. Charles W Carter, 4 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, Sister Sharon A Spoores, Preceded in death by his Parents, 1  half Sister, and 1 half Brother.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at The Kenissington Community Church  with Pastor Steve Steele officiating.. Interment in Plum Grove Cemetery, Union. Donations  to Gentiiva Hospice.
