Marty Ureche, 64

Marty S. Ureche, age 64, of Three Rivers, died on November 19, 2022, after a battle with dementia. He was born on July 25, 1958 in Flint, the son of Thomas, Sr. and Elizabeth (Hahn) Ureche. Marty was a 1976 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. He was a forklift operator for General Motors, and happily retired after 30 years. …

Injury in rollover crash

A 19-year-old woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash earlier this week in Cass County’s Porter Township. Induction ceremony at Glen Oaks

Glen Oaks Community College recently held a ceremony to celebrate a national observance honoring academically sound students who are first-generation college students. Starting the week of November 28th, Van Buren/Cass District Health Department will transition to appointment-only clinics for COVID-19 and flu vaccines.
