Marijuana tax revenue to be distributed locally

Six governmental entities in St. Joseph County will soon receive tax revenue collected from marijuana sales in Michigan. St. Joseph County United Way fell just a bit short of its goal for its Campaign 2026. During the agency’s annual victory celebration Wednesday in Sturgis, St. Joseph County United Way board members announced the 12-month drive netted $1,212,232.
