Unemployment decreases in St. Joseph County

February’s unemployment rate in St. Joseph County decreased by nine-tenths of a percent from January. Figures from the monthly labor-market analysis by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget show St. Joseph County’s unemployment rate fell from 5.9 percent in January to 5 percent in February. RV thefts in White Pigeon Township

A number of recreational vehicles were reported stolen from a location in White Pigeon Township. State police said the vehicles were stolen between last Tuesday and Thursday (March 28 and March 30) from a location in the 60000 block of U.S. 131. The RVs are described as gray and white Arctic Wolf and Milestone fifth-wheel campers.

Resurfacing project – Sprinkle Road

A major north-south road in Kalamazoo County will be under construction starting today.
